Qualico’s Functional Roles
The definitions provided below refer specifically to the grouping of Qualico Employees. Any Qualico Employee should fall within one of the following four (4) categories. This categorization is used throughout the Manual when identifying and assigning health and safety related roles and responsibilities.
- Senior Manager: senior leadership position that oversees the strategy and operations of Qualico and the management of its Business Units.
Qualico Leadership: referring to the Senior Management team as a collective body, separate and above the generalized term of “Employee”. - Manager: leadership position that oversees people and projects, managing a specific function or department (e.g. Sales, Construction, etc.).
Regional Safety Manager: leadership position designated as accountable and responsible for the health and safety of all Employees and Contractors. - Supervisor / Superintendent: authority position that is responsible to oversee the work of Workers and Contractors.
- Worker: contributing Employees with no direct report(s).
