National Safety Footwear Program

As we make tremendous strides in embracing a safety culture within Qualico, a National Safety Footwear Program (NSFP) was established to further enhance our regional safety compliance and standardize our approach to footwear administration.

In conjunction with the Regional Safety Managers, the Qualico Corporate Purchasing Department has entered into a formal agreement with Mark’s (formerly Mark’s Work Warehouse) to supply safety footwear to all eligible Qualico employees.

This program allows each business unit the ability to control costs, utilize Qualico’s buying power and ensure each employee has an opportunity to work in a safe and supporting environment. The Mark’s voucher will include the employees name, business unit, footwear requirements and specifications, as well as the maximum allowable dollar value per region. The Regional Safety teams will provide eligible employees, based on their classification, a voucher at one-year, two-year or five-year increments, depending on frequency of use, job requirements and last purchase date.

To increase the advantage of a nationally recognized program, the corporate purchasing department has negotiated point-of-sale discounts on specific branded footwear that will allow participating business units to benefit from the Qualico National Safety Footwear Program (NSFP).
